Ikoku Meiro no Croisee Episode 4 – Galerie du Moe (Kawaii)
Enter the Galerie du Moe. In here, all you will find are two little girls, Alice and Yune. As to their antics and plans for the future, that will be revealed in the future episodes. As if. I had the voice of that old man running through my head as I typed this little tidbit here. Aren’t you peeps glad I did this?
The next week and a half will be crunch week for me. I have a lot of crunch weeks, and they’re not going to let up any time soon! Having said that, expect the updates on this here blog to get a little more sporadic and don’t be surprised if I drop a couple of shows for a few weeks or so. If I’m able to, I’ll try to update, it’s just that time won’t permit me in most cases. Read the rest of this entry
Ao no Exorcist 14 & Ikoku Meiro no Croisee 3 – No Witty Title Today
Whoop-de-doo, we finally get a glimpse of Ikoku Meiro no Croisee’s Alice Blanche, the spoiled princess who happens to also be obsessed with all things Japanese. Maybe she was the antecedent to modern-day weaboos and otakus? (If you get offended by that, you’re obviously taking things too seriously). I predict that she’s going to change into a more lovable character by series’ end, just like Lotte from Astarotte no Omocha – man, drawing parallels is easy.
Ao no Exorcist recently got out of the ditch it’s been in for the past couple of weeks only to fall back into it. Time has taken its toll and the initial crisp artwork is giving way to the horribly mangled faces that you would expect to see from anime like Naruto or Bleach (Now those are two anime to sneer at!). I’d like to forgo all of the training camps and get straight to the meat of the plot, but hey, they’ve got to pad this series out so as to make it last long enough. Read the rest of this entry
Sacred Seven and Ikoku Meiro no Croisee – First Impressions
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY – Wow, there’s a lot of anime coming out this Summer 2011 season and it’s a bit difficult to get everything under control. My blogging schedule in regards to this new season is tentative at the moment. I plan to do them as they come out, but between a boatload of work that needs to get done and the short periods of time between episodes, things may get a little sporadic.
Sacred Seven’s main character Alma immediately gave me a Lelouch vibe. You know, the dude from Code Geass? The horribly misguided and troubled youth who thought he could save the world? Eeeh, anyways, it had a strong first episode, and I’m not throwing the praise around lightheartedly. There are some shows that I’ve watched (like Ro Kyu Bu) that I will most likely never review this season since they were just plain horrible. So sit tight, kiddos, as this anime is killer.
