Hanasaku Iroha Episode 21 – Enishing is Possible

As Takako would say, Enishing is possible! And I would agree with her for the most part, only, one thing that Hanasaku Iroha has failed to do for the past summer season is fascinate me, enthrall me. There was actually a time where I looked forward to every episode in this show. I reveled in Ohana’s exploits and her efforts in adjusting and gaining friends. I liked the whole romance angle with Ko. Now, PA Works has scrapped those early “pluses” and decided to create an episode for each and every supporting character. It’s as if they didn’t have an inn chock-full of them in the first place. My god.
Symbolic in the sense that the shower head could represent her tears, or that the shower head could represent the torrent of Minchi’s feelings coming out. Nah, most likely just fanservice. Make Ohana all “wet” and get Minchi nehkehd in the process. It’s a win-win for everyone!
I’m also going to come out and say that I adored Minchi for all her tsundere antics. However, she has crossed the line and has become a stupid side character instead. Talk about stupid, she pushes Ohana towards Tohru when there was a possibility that he would lose interest in Ohana. Just tell Tohru you like him already and spare the viewers the typical teenage drama. Besides, a relationship with an age gap that huge is bound to run into problems, at least fr the time being. One’s in middle school and the other’s in…well…he’s out of high school.
Takako and Enishi won’t be inheriting the inn. Isn’t that depressing? No, not really. I have a feeling that Ohana is going to be the successor to the inn. After all, she’s one of the hardest workers in the inn and is the daughter of her intended heir, Satsuki. Once all the Bonbori stuff clears up, we can finally look forward to an ending for this series.
Whether it’s a release because it’s horrible or because you’re losing time, Hanasaku Iroha is not going to be sorely missed.

Well I still wait for every new apisode for this series, but I have to agree with some of your comments. I don’t like the side episodes for the side characters aswell and it will be really sucky if it was even more broadened, for instance on Ren or the Beanman.
On the other hand I thought you’ll be head over heels for the further Ohana x Tooru pairings
Oh, why did you think I would go crazy for Ohana and Tohru?
Okay epsiode, however seemed more like a soap opera to me, lol.
And yeah, I sort of have the same feeling Ohana will probably be getting the Inn, unless they go toward the route of closing it down (which Sui did joke about….just saying, lol). Anyway, with the soap opera bits aside, I will be happy to see how it concludes, since it was a different beast when it began.
I would go so far as to say, “mediocre”.
I don’t think Ohana’s going to inherit the inn even if the inn manager wants her to. She’s only 14 or 15 for crying out loud! Exactly…the fact that it changed so much shows that the production team lacked vision and focus.
The thing is we havent seen much development in romance wise, so i cant really be excited with this ending, kinda bam romance setting.
the development is SO SLOW!!! i want more!!
I don’t know if I want more….I think I’ve dropped this show now.
